Community Connections of Central Texas (CCCT)
CCCT’s focus is to strengthen and to empower children, individuals, and families. CCCT is located at 901 Ave B Brownwood, Texas and many satellite offices within the counties served. The multi-dimensional model with a holistic approach promotes coordinated and collaborative efforts to strengthen the services and our communities.
Services Offered
Parents Forever
Safe Exchange
By offering supervised visitation & child-exchanges, this service encourages both parents to be involved in the lives of their children in a safe environment.
Anger Management
This course can provide new ways to express anger appropriately and is offered for children, teens, and adults. At the end of the course, participants will receive a certification of completion.
Mediation
Mediation is a service providing an alternative to litigation to settle disputes. It is a process in which a third-party, the mediator, assists in resolving a dispute between two or more parties.
Children of Divorce
The primary goal is to minimize the behavioral and emotional problems that children experience following parental divorce or a change in custody. Children will learn important skills including social problem solving, constructive ways of dealing with anger, and communication skills.
Counseling
This service provides short-term assistance to establish resolution for conflicts or relief from stressors.
Nuturing Parenting
Nurturing Parenting Programs are a family-centered trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices.
CCCT publishes an information and referral pamphlet for counties served. These pamphlets are provided free to individuals, families, and agencies.
