The Center for Life Resources is governed by a Board of Governance appointed from each of the seven counties we serve. Trustees work in responsible and accountable cooperation with local and state government and citizens of their counties.

Our CEO

Dion White, MBA, FAAIDD

CEO - 2010

Dion White, MBA serves as Chief Executive Officer of Center for Life Resources, where he has led the organization since 2010 in providing mental health, intellectual and developmental disability, and community support services throughout Central Texas. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare and community administration, Dion is recognized as a dedicated advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and for strengthening access to behavioral health services.

His leadership has earned numerous honors, including the 2026 Sesqui Award for Advocacy from the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AAIDD), the 2025 President’s Award from the Texas Chapter of AAIDD, and the 2024 Citizen of the Year Award from the Early Chamber of Commerce. In 2022, he was named a Fellow of the AAIDD (FAAIDD), one of the organization’s highest distinctions.

In addition to his role at Center for Life Resources, Dion serves as President of the Board for the Brown County Museum of History, where he works to preserve and promote the region’s rich heritage. A former collegiate decathlete at Wayland Baptist University, he brings the discipline, determination, and leadership developed through athletics to every aspect of his professional and community service.

Dion holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wayland Baptist University. He remains committed to improving lives, strengthening communities, and advocating for those in need across Texas and beyond.
