POSITION: Program Supervisor

Working Title: Program Supervisor Child and Adolescent Services
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – M-F (flexible)
Salary: DOEE&Q

General Description:

Under the supervision of the Chief of Mental Health, the Child & Adolescent Supervisor performs professional administrative work required for the management of the program. Establishment of program goals and objectives; assisting in development of program guidelines, policies, procedures and methods; assisting in development of schedules, priorities and standards for achieving program goals. Assists in evaluation of program activities. Requires intervention and in-person contact with individuals, families and service providers. Must have knowledge and skills for suicide assessment and crisis intervention and the ability to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental and physical illness. Work schedule may require flexible hours. Travel to conferences and meetings required. Good interpersonal skills for positive interaction with people and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing essential. Computer knowledge is essential.

Qualifications:

Minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social science field such asocial work, psychology, or the Humanities or related field. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license with driving record to comply with CTMHMR policy. Ability to complete all staff development training is required.

The Center for Life Resources prefers applicants who are already living in or are willing to move to the 7 county catchment area within 90 days of their hire date. Our catchment area includes the counties of Brown, Eastland, Coleman, Comanche, San Saba, Mills and McCulloch.
