POSITION: Case Manager III
Working Dept: Child & Adolescent Services
Hours: Full time; 8 AM -5 PM; Flexible

General Description:
Under the supervision of the Child & Adolescent Services Director, Case Manager will obtain and coordinate services for individuals in Children’s Services, ensuring that the individual’s needs are met within the WRAP Net Work. Work environment is such as to require sitting, walking, bending, and the full range of physical and mental activities associated with care giving. Must be able to lift in excess of 45 pounds. This position requires frequent, long-term contact with individuals, families and service providers. Flexible work schedule will be required as needed. Primary responsibilities include screening, intake assessments, crisis intervention, development of service plans and the implementation and monitoring of services for consumers. Requires use of Center vehicle for travel within Center for Life Resources catchment area.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social services or related field is required. Must have experience working with children that are emotionally/behaviorally challenged and/or possess cognitive disabilities. Experience may include working with own children. Must have working knowledge of medications, documentation requirements, Medicaid and available resources within the community and state. Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Basic computer knowledge is essential. Position requires the ability to work independently and under stressful conditions. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and a driving record to comply with CFLR authorization to request copy of driving record as well as all required prescreens and background checks. Must be able to pass required staff development training.
The Center for Life Resources prefers its applicants who are already live in or are willing to move to the 7-county catchment area within 90 days of their hire date. Our catchment area includes the counties of Brown, Eastland, Coleman, Comanche, San Saba, Mills and McCulloch.
