Full time—Monday thru Friday; On Call; varies
Position #: 5103
Salary: $19.48-21.28 per hour; DOEEQ

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may vary based on specific program and position, and may include but are not limited to the following:
· Position is under the general supervision of the ICF Program Manager with latitude for independent judgment.
· Provides nursing coverage for the ICF Program with responsibilities to include administering and monitoring the use of medications, health data and information, and assisting individuals to secure emergent/non-emergent medical services.
· Incumbent must also maintain records, arrange transportation along with performing health care procedures prescribed by a physician/medical practitioner and monitors task delegated to other service providers.
· Work requires aggressive intervention and close contact with individuals, families, and service providers as well as following all regulations and standards of the ICF/HHSC.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals, interdisciplinary teams, and systems.
· Proficient in accurately and objectively recording data and documentation.
· Proficient in the use of computers using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalency is required and be licensed b the Texas State Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Texas.
· A minimum of one-year experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and experience with Medicaid waiver program preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
· Valid Driver’s License required
· LVN License by the Texas State Board of Nursing
