Full time—8 A. M. – 5 P. M.
Position #: 1010
Salary: $15.84-17.82 per hour; DOEEQ

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties may vary based on specific program and position, and may include but are not limited to the following:
• Performs complex clerical, bookkeeping and accounting work
• Preparing financial statements, reports, schedules, and exhibits
• Process general journal entries, payments, cash, purchase, travel, and related vouchers
• Must have ability to interpret and apply accounting theory; laws and regulations
• Work accurately with numerical detail along with effective communication
Competencies
The competencies listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals, interdisciplinary teams, and systems.
• Proficient in the use of accounting procedures and computerized accounting system.
• Proficient in the use of computers using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education and Experience:
• Graduation from accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in accounting or other finance experience preferred.
• Thorough background in accounting is strongly desired.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:
• Valid Driver’s License required
