Salary: $14.07-$17.31 per hour; DOEEQ

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may vary based on specific program and position, and may include but are not limited to the following:

· Works directly under the Supervisor of Information Technology; position requires assisting in the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of a local area network or wide area network and all network nodes

· Works under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

· May perform procedures for backup, recover and archival of files stored on the network, serves a contact for remote network location to obtain clarification of problems and to identify solutions or corrective actions, maintains the local area network, cable, work stations and hub installation and inventories, maintains the network’s physical and logical structures and installing and testing hardware and software.

· May also assist in or conducts product evaluations of upgraded or new hardware and software and identifies strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits to the agency.

· Applicant must be willing to travel within the 7-county catchment area as well as attend meetings as required.

· Must have knowledge of network facilities and data processing techniques; of personal computer hardware and software; of network operating system and security software; and of performance monitoring and capacity management tools and have the ability to recognize, analyze and resolve network problems.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Associates Degree in Information Technology preferred.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:

· Valid Driver’s License required
