Salary: $11.44 to $12.14; DOEE&Q

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties may vary based on specific program and position, and may include but are not limited to the following:

· Requires use of initiative and independent judgment.

· Requires fact to face contact with consumers, their families and multiple entities in the private and public service agencies.

· Types and proofreads reports, purchase orders and other related items.

· Contacts programs statewide to develop available resources for individuals.

· Maintains files, ability to answer phone, assist call and directing the calls or taking messages in appropriate and timely, professional manner.

· Help the IDD statewide interest list for HCS and TXHML programs as well as complete Maximus Referrals when received.

· Ability to follow established service implementation processes to meet the needs of individuals served and adhere to funding source requirements.

· Proficient in the use of computers and Excel and Microsoft Word and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Prefer 6 months experience working in clerical environment.


Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:

· Valid Driver’s License required
