Hours: Full time; 8 AM – 5 PM Monday thru Friday
Rate of Pay: $10.78-$11.11 per hour; DOEE&Q

General Description:
Under the general supervision of the HCS Program Manager and with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment, this position requires face-to-face contact with consumers, their families and multiple entities in the private and public service agencies. Types and proofreads reports, purchase orders and other related items. Contacts programs statewide to develop available resources for individuals. Maintains files. Use of a Center vehicle to travel within the 7-county area may be required.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited high school or possess a GED. Position requires the ability to answer phone, assisting the caller and directing the calls or taking messages as appropriate in a timely and professional manner. Must possess strong writing skills and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Skills in use of the computer and Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. Knowledge of English language is required. Must be able to multitask, proficiently manage time, and be able to independently organize multiple demands in order to meet deadlines. Work habits to include regular attendance, teamwork, initiative, dependability and promptness. Must have valid Texas driver’s license and driving record to comply with the CFLR policy. Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and a driving record to comply with CFLR policy. If selected for this position, employee must give CFLR authorization to request copy of driving record as well as all required prescreens and background checks. Must be able to pass required staff development training.
