Volunteer

With your help the Center for Life Resources’ Volunteer program continues to move forward in improving the quality of life of the citizens of central Texas. You are invited to be part of this experience.

Who Can Volunteer?

Persons 18 and over, and in some cases earlier with parents’ permission, who meet tasks restrictions and availability can volunteer. Volunteers are subject to consumer confidentiality, rights issues, a criminal history check, and a no nonsense drug policy.

Use Your Talents

Apply and develop your talents with helpful, friendly professional staff members in areas of:

Nursing or physician assistant skills
General Office Administration duties
Degree internships
Licensing Preparation

This provides flexible hours, relaxing atmosphere, and a rewarding experience.

Thinking of Volunteering?

Join us for an introductory morning Tour and Coffee on the first Thursday of the month and find out what Volunteering at the Center is all about.

Individuals or groups should call in advance to make arrangements.

Need Work Experience?

Try volunteering to gain or update your skills. Get help in resume preparation, job procurement, and job maintaining skills.

A Gift to the Community

A group of Volunteers with a special vocation who answered the call to volunteer – providing the elderly and their homebound neighbors with fellowship, aide in shopping and keeping medical appointments, and the like. They also mentor other segments of the population, and provide family hospice support.

For more information regarding volunteer opportunities, please contact Pam Stockman, ext. 300.
