POSITION: Case Manager III--Recovery Coach

General Description:
The coordinated specialty care program is an exciting team-based program designed to provide early intervention services for individuals with first episode psychosis between the ages of 15 - 30. The Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) Recovery Coach is responsible for providing coordination, monitoring, and rehabilitation services of all mental health treatment for individuals meeting the first episode psychosis eligibility. This role functions with a level of independent judgment, the QMHP Recovery Coach activities are provided to assist eligible individuals to continue, resume, or adapt their academic or vocational activities successfully, using the IPS (individual placement and support) model. This position also helps clients remove barriers to employment or education by reinforcing taught coping skills. This position involves outreach and networking.

Work requires intervention and frequent in-person long-term contact with individuals, families, and service providers. The incumbent will work closely with clients and must be able to lift 45 pounds. The work environment is such as to require sitting, walking, lifting, bending, and the full range of physical and mental activities normally associated with care giving. Prefer experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Work schedule may require flexible hours. This position requires the use of a Center vehicle.


Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in counseling, psychology, social services, or related field. Social Work License and experience working with People with disabilities is preferred. Staff must meet the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) requirements

The Center for Life Resources prefers its applicants live in or are willing to move to the 7-county catchment area within 90 days of their hire date. Our catchment area includes the counties of Brown, Eastland, Coleman, Comanche, San Saba, Mills and McCulloch.
